I was at LACR until about 3PM. There was a mean looking group of clouds all afternoon threatening to get us wet. It never got wet but none of the high horsepower cars could get a clean pass. There was a great showing of nationwide vendors and the turnout considering the nagging threat of rain was impressive. Of course what made my day was seeing that ASSC racing red rocket. 2000 plus horsepower,high 6's@ 210 plus MPH (of course at a better track), 40 pounds of Procharged boost,....


Equally impressive was John Mihovetz' yellow Cougar. First 4.6 in the sixes.

These cars were outright too powerful for the bad track conditions today.
