I weighed the car in yesterday at 3370lbs. With me in it it was 3530. Then last night I had my friend with me that weighs 175 so I was at around 3700lbs total. My track times went as follows.

.524 rt.
1.965 60ft.
12.580 et.
109.254mph.

.510 rt.
1.808 60ft.
12.409 et.
109.976mph.

.570 rt.
1.840 60ft.
12.512 et.
105.805mph.

The last run sucked because I was trying to bracket against an 8 second car so I hit the brakes at the end, then realized that the 160mph car was catching me really fast lol. And I almost pushed the car past the staging beams because my stall was'nt working. I easily had a 13.3 on that run too IMO.

good job! is that thing tuned yet though?

Its getting a lot better Shade. I need to run a colder plug and maybe move the timing another degree. I'm getting a slight miss at about 6300 rpm up until 6500 when I shift so I'm losing some there. Also, my "stall" convertor is'nt stalling at all so I need a new one I guess. I'm hoping for 12.0's or 11.9's on motor but I think I'm going to be closer to the 12.0. We'll see on grudge night.

You're running 12's and they let your friend ride with you???

Last night as in after the track. I dont think they let anyone ride with you unless you run under 16's or some shit.

Mach,
I am also running a big block in my car. What do you have for suspension. I might be able to help you get those 60 foots down a little. I consistently run in the low 1.5 with a couple high 1.4's. 10 inch slicks

That'd be great actually. I think the car will do a 1.6 on slicks. I've only ran the car about 6 times ever I believe and was pushing it harder each time I ranthis time around. I use Cal-tracs on the back with HD springs and KYB shocks. The front are just 620 coils and KYB's. Since the Cal-tracs make the entire car lift instead of squat, it has'nt affected it really. The cal-tracs are adjusted 1 turn preload and it left straight so I never changed them. But your more then welcome to offer some help. I'm always interested in that. [Smile]

These runs were also on my Nitto DR's at 18lbs.

Some slicks would definately help. HD springs meaning "heavy duty". Cal-Trac sells a mono leaf that works really well. I have comp engineering shocks in the back (3 way adjustable) and they work pretty good. Also some Moroso drag springs and 90/10 shocks up front would help. How wild is your combo? Gears, stall?

Nice times!

And here I thought you were full of shit calling everybody out! [Wink]
Good luck at grudge! Get some slicks on that thing & hit your 11!

I know that I can put some different suspension on it to hook harder but its my street car so I'm trying to keep it driveable. Yes, HD means heavy duty. My stall is'nt working(1500rpm and the tires break). New 3000 stall coming Monday. I managed somehow to torque the electric fans into my radiator tonight and went home on a tow truck. lol I'll be ready tomorrow night though. Heres my combo.

Sounds a lot like my old combo except the stall and I got down to an 11.7. Nice combo, good luck! [Smile]

Thats what I'm hoping for is 11's after the stall gets in. Then maybe a little faster on the bottle.
