I hadnt raced my car since I did the transmission swap from and automatic to a 5spd,,I was able to run with all my mods and automatic transmission a best of 8.4 in the 1/8mile..and the best I was able to get with my 5spd yesterday was a 9.4,,I was in lack of traction,,I believe since my car is now puting more hp in the wheels it need more trancion, and I'm only using Nitto 555rs 245s,,I;ll try upgrading to 315s [Big Grin] ,,,any other thoughts..

just practice drivin more and the times will continue to drop
and some suspension mods couldnt hurt

Practice make perfect. When you drive around town, start working on releasing the clutch and riding the throttle out at teh same time. What track where you at?
