Its been confirmed that the PSCA will be at the Sacramento Raceway for the Fourth of July weekend. Lets get as many cars and as many spectators possible at this event.

This will be a very crucial visit from the PSCA. If the car count and spectator count is not good, then chances of a re-visit are probably slim to none.

Lets get out there and support some of the fastest heads up street car drag racing on the west coast.

I'm just wondering which 7 second carbed big block class to enter my stock shortblock EFI 302 into, lol.

seriously, I'll go if at all possible (read my car is running I go) but I'm completely intimidated by the fact that all classes are basically the same and they all require 7-8 second ET's to be competitive.

Where's my Probe EFI class at? Weren't they in the 11's last year?

Kind of gay to drive four hours (round trip) for a single pass (unless the other car breaks) but hey, why not I guess.

well...actually, you get three qualifying passes and then you go into eliminations. if your going in one of the bracket classes...you could go as far as your skills will take you.

heads up classes wont be competitive for stock style cars. the car count and interest was very low over the past few years. but they did add another bracket class.....

enter x-street, they only run high 7s, low 8s. Mr Chang holds the record with a similar combo as yours, an efi small block.

yeah, right. 1/2 chassis race car w/ BIG turbo pushing 25+psi thru 392 cubic inches. Just like shade's car...

i'd love to run limited street but DFI and moved frame rails aren't allowed.

On a similar note would you like a yellow pages style directory of all the stroked 351W's running 10's on motor? Quite possibly every trailerpark has a few examples...

Find me one doing it on 87 octane, 8.5:1 compression and a hydraulic cam and you'll get the honor of shaking my hand.

how about 9:1 ? I've got an article with a 3500# 357 running upper tens on 87 in front of me...

nope, 8.5:1

What type cam? what mag? I'd be interested to read it. Wouldn't mind building a beater to take to work and that sounds like a nice beater combo.

Yeah this should be a pretty good race. My buddies were talking this tonight, if his truck is complete by then we will be there. The tube chassis is coming along pretty fast but we'll see.

Its a 55 chevy cameo. Not sure what class he would be in, my guess would be O/C. Dont know if he is going to keep the same motor set up. Last time out at sac he ran a 10.7. Then later found out that he only had 3/4 throttle and only running on 7. I will see if I can get some pics tonight and put some up.
