I am going to Sears Point on Monday and I was wondering if any of you seasoned veterns have advice. It will be bracket racing, so I don't know how many runs I will get in, hopefully enough to get a good run that accurately displays what my car is capbable of. Thnx for any advice.

Try this-
clutch in, rpms at 3k, let the clutch out fast. If it spins do it again and slow down the rate you let the clutch up. Keep the rate steady for the whole pedal travel. Repeat until you find the rate that works. You can do this at any rpm and find the rate that lets the car move out w/out spinning. With some practice you will get a good feel for clutch engagement vs. tire spin. Course, the higher the RPM, the more clutch wear...
