sort of, anybody know the guy with the 337ci pro-charged green notch?
Saw him nearly kiss the wall during test-n-tune yesterday.
It's a sick combo, saw mid 9's in the 140 range.
Hopefully his last pass was not a "code brown" , lol. [Big Grin] [worship]

kevin locke, seen him go 9's on drag radials , love the sound of the D2

Bought my intake from him. 9.2's at Sears Point, 1.35 60 ft, 149mph. He and John know each other, friendly rivalry. He drives that car to the track, knocks of 9's, goes home. Not bad for a street car on drag radials...

Gotta love the things that Kevin's car is capable of doing with DR's [worship]

Yep, Kevin and I share a lot of information about our setups as we test different things. He used to drive to the track on DR's but has recently been trailering and running slicks. His car is bad ass to be sure.

Joe - I can't believe you didn't know that!

John- Is Kevin on this board? I remember him rarely posting on corral.net. I don't think I've seen any pictures of his car online and don't remember him posting here.

dude, I haven't been to the track more or less at all in a year, lol! [worship]

Same here. It has been exactly one year and a week since I've last made a pass. This year alone, I've made it out to Sac only twice to watch [Frown] Still, that's no excuse not to know about a local LX that drives to the track and run mid 9's on the same tires he drove there with [dance]

kiss my ass [Big Grin] , I talked to him Saturday! (lol)

I got the 'eyebrow raise' from him when I told him I had just run a 12.6 (had the hood open).

gotta start somewhere, lol. [worship]

For what its worth, Kevin ran 10.1's with 1 5/8 headers from what I understand. Tell that to the kids getting their first 5.O and wanting to install headers right away [patriot]

Sawson,

He doesn't post much anywhere. He would sometimes post questions on the NMRA board but not much else. Haven't see any pictures of his car online either. BTW, those weren't just 1 5/8" headers, they were 1 5/8" shorties....unequal length [Razz] [Smile] .

hey john, when are you going to the track next?

Can't say for sure. I'm in the process of upgrading my cage to be 9.99-7.50 legal. Since I won't leave my car overnight at any shop I am doing the forward bars/kicker bars myself, which is a giant PITA. Probably won't be until after the new year before I make it out again.

Can't you have someone come to your house and do it?

Actually, I probably could but it wouldn't turn out as nice [Big Grin]
