best mph 108.19, best ET 12.626
best 60' only a 1.78 on ET Streets (weak, but the track was slippery I believe)

playing with fuel and timing led to some promising mph results. Started out around 106 and ended up around 108.

29 PSI vac on for my 30#'ers seemed to work best. Perhaps 30 on the money is even better, not enough runs to know.

Also, 14 degrees timing definitely better than 12, as I lost 0.5 mph back-back.

Missed my goal of a 7.99 1/8 mile by 0.05, damn!

'94 cobra longblock (totally stock) with a 'typhoon' (edelbrock performer rpm) intake and full exhaust. Bypassed PS pump, no underdrives, electric fan

last pass was my best, and it was at 12 degrees BTDC timing.

1.781 60'
8.05 @ 85.6 1/8
12.626 @ 107.519 1/4
I had 3 passes in the 108 range, so I'm sure a 12.5x is just me setting the proper timing for a pass [Big Grin]

Yeah my buddy ran a 11.1 @ 126 backed out in 3 cuz the gear box cover on the blower broke and oil went everwhere... maybe why the track was slippery....LOL the run look pretty good though.
btw he was on the orange 55 chevy pick up. [burnout]

26x10.5-15 ET Streets (165/86-15 skinnies up front). Centerline convo-pro drag rims all around.
Those ET Streets are a 8.5" wide 'actual' size. Just right [Big Grin]

NX EFI nitrous kit is being installed today just to get all the lines hooked up [Big Grin]
120+ mph or bust [patriot]

How did you launch to get that 1.78? Are you going to run any race gas with the NX kit? Taking it back to the track on the 9th?

since the track wasn't hooking, launched at 3500 and about 90% throttle. Eased into 100% on the 1-2 shift.

Should be out next week, I just want to test a real edelbrock performer upper on this combo. I'm sourcing an ASP 'race' crank pulley for '94-'95 cars so I'll have that too after I get some data on what the regular performer is worth. I'll hold off on swapping the mufflers (I bought some Borla XR-1s).
why you coming out? [worship]
I won't be testing the NX stuff next weekend either. I'm just playing with it right now. I'm hoping for 11's on a 35 or 50 shot [Big Grin] [burnout]
