Bottle pressure, Bottle pressure, BOTTLE PRESSURE !!!!!!!!
Just installed a gauge in the car, and with the bottle temp the same as Friday night (82-84 degrees) the pressure is sitting @ 750psi [Roll Eyes]
Yes Aaron, you were right [Wink]

I am installing a bottle heater tonight so I can make a real pass at the track

We'll see what happens Friday night

There is a HUGE difference in HP gian between even 1000 and 1200 [patriot]

You're right, its not much different
BUT, the system is calibrated for 900-950 psi minimum. So @ 750 psi, the car would be running VERY rich !!!!

I knew the pressure was way low by the feel of the bottle. 1000-1050 psi the bottle will feel toasty. The difference is night and day, obviously, haha.... Now once the pressure is up to par, don't forget to shift [patriot] As soon as you feel it hit, you'll be clicking off second gear [Eek!] LOL

I knew someone was going to bring that up [Razz]
The only time the nitrous really felt like it hit hard, 2nd gear was on me so fast, I didn't have time to think about it and not only bounced off the rev limiter (MSD) but I flat missed second gear in the process [Eek!] [Eek!]

I have just about got everything hooked up (still down at the shop right now) I will test it on the way home. On my street tires there is probably going to be a bunch of this [burnout] [burnout]

750 psi vs a 1000 psi!!! HAHAHAHAHAHA It's gonna feel like a 500 shot compared to what it was before....

750psi would make your car run like a pig... Just be careful about anything higher than 1100..... Just as low will make the car run rich, high will make it lean.... memba that!!!!

I have never used a heater or a guage on my system [Eek!]

Guys dont put your bottle pressure over anything more than 1000 psi if nothing else just dont do it for me ok?

1100-1200 nitrous does weird shit under them pressures but one thing it doesnt do is work well with any of the off the shelf kits.

Love
Dan
