This is Brandon (12sec'01ws6) From WWW.Norcal-LS1.com And there are gonna be a bunch of us out at the track on the 3rd for some freandly "grugr race's". We did this same thing last year and it was a real blast. This year we are thinking of doing a bbq were you bring somthing to eat and we all bbq, bench race talk hellllla shit and so on and soforth. If this is gonna turn in to a fight then I assume we stay the fuck away from each other and keep the "peace" how ever if you think we can all get along then I say lets eat and geta long alot better. So if you guys could figure out who will bring what We can get this going.

p.s. if you are interested a bounch of use meet at hot rod cafe on flsm blvd and sunrise every thursday at 7:00 if you want to come out give me a call at 916-205-0040

Dont htink I will be able to beat any of you guys but I will be out there hoping for some low 14's.

Went to HRC last grudge night and thought it sucked btw. See all of you guys there. The BBQ thing sounds good though.

Well, it looks as though Saturday I'll be out hunting..for a 12.9 that is. Fully armed with the new converter and a fresh set of E/T Streets and front runners.

Yeah, I remember you! And yes, if we have the chance, I'll line up with you.. But not if your pullin 12's all day. I mean we can still run, but I want to run with mostly LOW 13 second cars so the scoreboard looks cool everytime I run

Yup. My pcm should be getting here on Friday morning, so I will be testing it out Friday night
If it doesn't come, I'm gonna use my roomie's pcm (97 z28 also) and go out, but I don't know if I'll be racin with his or not so I might just go out to the bars and drink my problems away (problem being not able to race on Saturday with NO pcm)

Many of us will be at the cruise earlier that same day...not to mention the "heavy hitters" won't be there...and Sac will be extremely busy, so I wouldn't even go as far as calling it an official norcal-ls1 vs local fords

Last year the race worked out well because the date wasn't advertised on SAC raceway's web site, so only members from both sites turned up for the most part.

All I will say is..only time will tell.
I just got the car back with the new converter, and all I can say is..WHOA! This thing is crazy! Literally, I can be cruising at 1400rpm and then just TOUCH the throttle and the tach literally just INSTANTLY JUMPS to 2700rpm! I'm on my way to get the slicks/skinnies right now. See everyone saturday! (This is going to have a BIG turnout I think..lots of 13 second cars to have fun with)

I had forgotten about the race between Dan (gr8white) and I last year.
That is still one of the best races I have had (VERY CLOSE finish and I won !!!

I already replied the last time you asked (maybe in a diferent thread)...yeah I will be out tomorrow (Tonight) ONLY if I get my PCM from UPS tomorrow.
If I don't get it tomorrow (like it was promised by the shop I sent it to) then I don't think I will be making it to Saturdays Grudge (no pcm=no driving the car)

well, I'll be out snapping pics for a couple of hours, but I'm not racing. My Cobra has a oil leak right at the cooler and the block so it wouldn't be smart if I ran. If anyone needs a helmet, I'll bring my along, but you gotta find me at the track, or call my cell 425-8556. See ya there!
