i dont know if it's me, my car, or the track? i run high 13's at sacramento on street tires, i was on nittos today. my first run, i was just messing around (somehow i thought i might hit a 13 and get booted, lol!) so i didnt heat up my tires and got a 2.4 60' then banged up to 80 or so then coasted the rest of the way to a 15.2@76mph. the next run i actually try and get 14.8 at 92. i'm gonna head up to sac next weds to redeem myself.

oh yeah, i saw a new red gt with a roush kit and a triple black cobra out sporting 98cobra stickers. i was the black 94 v6 looking car with a 14.0 dial in running 14.8, haha [Big Grin]

I was the red gt. For some reason my car does not like sears point. I have trouble either keeping traction or hitting gears right. When it comes to street racing I shift and launch perfectly...but when it comes to the track...my high 13 second car goes low 14's to high 14's. I have never raced at Sac but I think I am going to go there next time. Which place is better?

There are eliminations on Wed nite, but after (if) you lose there is a loser lane that they run all night, so you can get 1-3 more runs in after you lose.

sounds fun even if you lose...that's a definite change up from sears point...or "infineon raceway".

Stock 2002 GT 5 spd at Sac: 13.898
2 weeks later at sears point, this time with flows and k&n filter, nuthing lower than 14.53...and sears was 18 degrees colder!!! [Mad]

I always ran better times at sac also. sears point sucks. I ran a 14.3 at sears and a 13.4 at sac and you get one practice run at sears and go straight to eliminations. at sac you can run all night [Cool]

One run and then eliminations huh? You should try getting there before 6. Give it a try. LOL

They do have Eliminations BUT they have a fun lane you can go into and still get a few more runs in. At least till that lane fills up. [Wink]
