Cool, thanks for the update. With that eaton blower, one would expect even 4th gear to have good pull on those '03 Cobras'. The Saleen's times sound about right to a tad slow for a typical driver, since they're pretty much a stock GT with a body kit. As for the notch running 10.2@140mph.... talk about traction problems [Eek!] At least he drove it to and from the track though, right? [patriot]

he did say saleen s/c 281 though. so id say 14.3 @97 is a little slow.

I was there. Wish I had that Viper GTS, I think that could have ran faster than it did too. My 2000 red stang ran ok for having a huge body kit on it. I only hit a 14.3 whereas in stock form it was 14.1's. I couldn't believe the supercharged saleen either. I asked the guy what his times were...and he responded with "it could have been 13's". From what I saw I don't think he will hit 13's anytime soon. It's all about the driver! Who's going next week? I will most likely have my pulleys, offroad x-pipe, and my 98cobra decals on my car by then. till then, late.

my saleen is n/a and I will run s/c saleens ALL DAY at the track if they aren't pro drivers. With 18 inch tires, corner carving suspension and so much torque it is IMPOSSIBLE to hook up with a 281 s/c. I have seen a stock s281 s/c with a good driver do a 12.9 . I'm sure if they put some drag radials on there any driver could be well on their way to 12's.
