I went to Sears on wednesday but i was with my friend in his white 98 cobra. I plan to run next time. I think i saw you guys after reading this post. 2000 black gt w/ wcfords sticker.

Was the nova a 66? I think it was wearing convo pro's with et streets in back. It sounds very healthy but ran 12.9 to 13.0 when I saw it run.
Also had long wheel studs with Mark Williams axles. The driver looked real young.

Yeah wassup that is my car, dont know if I will EVER be going back to Sears, or atleast until I start making enough power that the headwind wont hurt so much.

Hey Z Ya,
Thanks for the info, that sounds just like the guy. I was expecting to hear something like a low to mid 11s from how it sounded. I guess it makes sense on why he didn't want to race on the street. Thanks again.

No problem Chris. Like I said , his car sounded very healthy! I would have guessed low 12's to
high 11's.

yeah we were all thinking low 11s, especially since he was driving around on the street with his ET Streets. That is probably the first high 12 second car I have ever heard of that has fenderwell headers.

Is this the one that had "Fab" build his 9" ?
Posted by Chris_67_SC_408 (Member # 936) on

Yes, and he is also the guy who is friends with the blue 64 nova that i gave a 20' head start and still beat by 4-5+ car lengths.
