I'll be there, gonna be my first time on sticky tires as well, gonna try to beat that 2.1 60' i pulled on my 12.9 run last time. If I can get into t 1.8 range i'll be stoked as hell.

Well, just got word that my motor won't be ready until Oct. 13 due to some cam issues that need to be reworked. So my Cobra won't be ready for the track on the 20th but I still plan on showing up for support!

YEP.
We might go to an autocross event at the air field in SAC during the day. Not sure yet. Hopefully WIKD 281 gets his car tuned. I'll let you know.

Count me out for the 20th
Unless I can get the money up in time to upgrade my entire drivetrain (which isn't going happen)
Tonight at the track, I ran my E.T drags and sheared off the driver side axle.
I will have the rear end fixed by tomorrow afternoon, but then what? break another axle? Blow up the tranny?

May come up to watch, but racing is another story

Ya, hopefully I get get this cooler on in no more than a couple of months. I'll definitely head up you guys, I'll probably be the slowest one though....I'm not ready to move to DR's or slicks yet....I gotta pull some descent times on these 19's first.

Hey Brian, I just spoke to Apex and Byron, Apex can fit me in early December along with the tune...so mid December I should be ready.

Byron's telling me to go the front mount intercooler route and 14#'s of boost for 430-450RWHP....he says he hasn't seen any problems with that crazy of a setup. Now it's got me thinking.

damn!!! ...14#?!?!?! ...hope i can get a vortech but instead m going with the nitrous route cause of this 2001 gt CR at 9.4:1 got me spooked...it seems like its more safer for the 2001 gt to run nitrous than s/c...oh well...its cheaper but i would rather have a s/c

I'm not saying your not a big boy. Once you make over 375rwhp, then will talk. In order to get into the 11's w/ a decent driver, you need at least that. Yours has around 230rwhp.

Your car stock has 220 rwhp. With the H pipe and cat back, your maybe around 235 which is good for 13.9's. I've been there already. Time for some NOS or a S/C

Well, you can count me out for racing
Today on my way back to work after lunch, I blew up yet another fucking POS T-5 tranny
I put my "backup" tranny in which needs syncros so racing is out of the question.

On a positive note, I have ordered a Tremec TKO, steel bellhousing, a GOOD clutch that will hold up with slicks, A new clutch fork, and a Steeda Tri-ax shifter. Between the Transmission stuff and all of the rear differential stuff I have ordered (Eaton 31 spline posi, Moser axles, all new bearings, etc...) I should be ready the beat the ever living shit out of my drivetrain without having to call tow truck for quite some time

May still come out to watch.

12's all motor would be sweet there are a few going it already. You need LT, 4:10's, slciks, pulleys and some quick shifting. I totally think it is possible.

yea it would be sweet ...im planning on geting pullies, 4.10 gears, DRs, ram clutch, of course a tri ax(wouldnt wanna bend my shift forks ), MAF, control arms, hope that will get me in the low 13s and then ill get the long tubes...we'll see though...if i run 12s all motor would i be able to run with the "BIG" boys

right now im trying to get 13.6-13.7 with better launching...when i ran a 13.9 with the just a weld on mufflers and a k&n i still needed practice on my launching...hope i can get it down though
