You would think people here would do more builds like 68dustin. You don't hear about DIY builds much any more. Not even fox ones. Why do you think that is?

I built my ‘86. Painted my own engine bay(should’ve shaved it), added Holley terminator x system, built my motor from a short block with no cam, added full MM suspension, full cobra brake setup, reupholstered my seats myself and redid the whole interior including fixing all the wiring problems. Basically I’ve done everything to my ‘86 except body/paint. My job I just started at last week has a car paint booth in our spare parts building so we’ll see what happens with that. I know my build ain’t on Dustin’s level but I am proud of what I built 100% by myself. I have pictures of my whole build scattered between old phones(I don’t use iCloud) and thought about posting my build here for years but I don’t know, just never did. I used to love following build threads online years ago which is why I wanted to post mine for someone else who enjoys it. One thing I’ll never forget tho is when everyone in my family doubted me. They seen my car literally on 4 jack-stands no k-member no rear no nothing and asked me multiple times if I know how to put it back together.

Find the pictures and post them up for us to enjoy. A lot of us regularly view this site and could use the content.
