Been making some headway on the project build, car blew a piston on a nitrous pass on the stock block and has been sitting while I put together parts, figure things out, and actually have time. Goal with this build was to have a bad ass NA car. So the nitrous is coming off, which sucks because it was brand new, but it is what it is.
The Build consists of 363 Dart Block, Diamond 9cc dome pistons should be roughly 14:1 and ran on e85. AFR 220S, port matched super Vic,Wilson 4150TB, custom solid roller cam, Kooks 2-3.5 inch headers, Aeromotive stealth fuel system, Holley efi, refreshed C4 with new converter for this setup, and a bunch of other small shit. .
Here are some pics, hopefully have her fired up shortly, running into some issues with starter clearance and the headers, the stock one fit but took a shit while trying to crank one the motor to check cranking timing with the Holley efi. Ordered a CVR and no luck, going to try a power master now.
Cant wait until it all comes together!

Badass setup
What brand c4 and converter are you going with?

Thanks, car has the trans and converter setup from https://www.dynamicconverters.com/aboutus.htm
they came highly recommended as the c4 pros, and the last converter that was setup for the stock motor and nitrous as spot on. The C4 was an awesome change over for me, still fun to drive and great at the track.

looks fun!
I'm shocked to see someone running a smaller battery than I am, haha. I run a pc680 and so far knock on wood keeping it on a battery tender when parked has kept it perfect for years now.

I know the feeling. I'm hoping to have mine back on the road in two weeks. I've been waiting a looooooooong time to put some real miles on the new motor. . .

I just found out I got KB 116 Hypereutectic pistons I was wondering why in the hell they used this piston on a stock ported e7 heads. I was going to use my TF 170 heads but end up selling them.
What are the benefits on running a dome piston?

Higher compression ratio.

What made you do high compression NA build over a boosted or continue using nitrous? I do like how raw they sound tho

Admirable. What are the cam shaft specifications?

figured it would be more than enough power for what I was looking to do. NAhas always seemed to run fast for the power it makes as well, not many people doing it these days.

264/271 748/707 on a 110

Your builds always run hard. Who did the machine work and assembly? What air fuel ratio and timing are you targeting?

Thanks, I had Brian at AD performance do the short block about 7 years ago, on the dyne I think we ended up with 32 degrees, I can't remember off the top id have to get into the tune again and check. Still need to get to the track and play with the tune and see how things compare but I am so busy these days its hard to make time for that. Unfortunately I will most likely sell the car if I can get a ok deal and hopefully someone will buy it and have a blast.

Does not make sense to sell the car after the wherewithal you put into the build.

It's great to see the car finished, and that Shaun at AED tune it! I am sure it is fun on the street and will definitely hurt some feelings!
