It's not a new law. lol
It's always been illegal to take off smog equipment.

Not new u cant order non emission legal equipment.....the loop hole is u say its for a race car or a car that has only offroad use

Look around, summit wont ship to you but latemodelresto out of texas sent me one, this was about 4 years ago though.

I ordered one from Jegs about 4 months ago. However, I called to order it from summit first and they refused to ship it to me.

I ordered bbk long tubes and off road xpipe from summit 2months ago and it got shipped no questions asked to union city

Most vendors will ship it they will just tell you it's not street legal and must be used "off-road only"

Removing emission equipment is a far bigger can of worms than just what happens here in California. On a federal level, it is illegal to remove functioning emission equipment. Regardless of inspections. To be honest, if any company is still shipping/selling emission deleting equipment to California, they're just playing with fire.

Do a little research as to what is happening with the Diesel market. It's only a matter of time before it transitions to the gas market.
