guys im looking for a high quality bang for buck can opener to open my canned chicken. Im tired of these garbage walmart ones that keep stripping on the gears etc. Looking for advice on can openers that have lasted you guys a while. I will be using it quite often daily. Hand manual operated ones are what i like but im open to anything. Thanks very much.

Also depends on what your looking for?
Do you want it to cut below the lid for a cleaner cut and you put the lid back on after.

Check out amazon for which ones get good reviews, then buy the same model for less money from ebay.

Ive heard that you can get some nice ebay brand can openers, that work just as well as the kitchen maid brand openers for 1/4 the price... might wanna look into those.

Two things:
1. "High quality bang for buck" don't go hand in hand, especially when talking about can openers.
2. I never ever thought I'd read a question about can openers and canned chicken on this sight lol. Anything is possible I guess
