It's not for sale.
Been in my driveway for a few weeks and a note to buy it.
Who does that passive aggressive bullshit. At least show up knock on the door and ask a person.
It's alright, parked in the garage now.

Funny, I don't see anything wrong with that. I sold a daily beater car after getting a note on it. Take it as a compliment that someone would like to buy your car. If it's not for sale, and it bothers you that much, just toss the note, lol.

Better than getting a ticket and if you're not driving it much maybe you should let someone else enjoy it.

How would the car get a ticket? Not sitting on blocks or flat tires or wrecked...

Whenever I see shit on my car it's usually a parking ticket but in your case you got someone wanting your car and now you are creating a post to complain about it? Sounds like a plea for attention to me.

For real? I left a note on a car my buddy was interested in a couple of weeks ago. Didn't realized people get paranoid about someone inquiring if your car was for sale. If they were interested in stealing your car, they would. They most certainly wouldn't leave evidence prior to stealing it.

Lol. OP should stop watching the news so much. They got you all scared. Nothing wrong with someone wanting to buy your car.

Wonder why you put the note istead of your buddy... I don't care if you knock on the door and wanna talk about it.
You're right. They could of just stole it.

Straight out the police blotter. You're right. If you want the car make contact with a person and if you do leave a note put an offer down.
The note had no offer. Asked if interested to call. Left 2 names and an email address.
Searched the number on Google and 2 different names popped up for ads that are less than 2 weeks old.

Thats how I bought my Mustang. knocked on the door, wasn't home. Left a note. Came back the next day and bought it. Wasn't even for sale, but my interest in it made the guy think about selling it. It actually belonged to his son who moved to Alaska.

Because my buddy lives in So-Cal and the car was here in Nor-Cal. Also, the car was in a commuter parking lot, so no door to knock on.

Last year i got a note on my 99 cobra asking if i wanted to sell it. This was obviously a photo copied hand written note a girl wrote since it was all fancy and she drew these curvy borders... but anyways i just ignored it. I did feel like someone might be casing my block but only because my 89 got stolen out of the same spot in the driveway my 99 sits in...
nothing every happened and i never got a note again.

I know mine isn't up to cafords standards but I've a had about 8 people, in my apartment complex alone, complement the car and stop and watch me work on it. Then about 3 different guys want to buy it. Can't lie, there is a black drop top 5 speed 85/86 gt on 20" Cobras that just sits in a stall. Wouldn't mind leaving a note on it either

My dad did that once and in Concord too. He went up to a 93 454 SS Chevy truck parked in a driveway. It needed new paint on roof/hood and a new windshield. He repainted and flipped that sob. That was back in the 90"s when I was a kid, now I seriously wish he would have kept it lol.

Damn, I've always wanted one of those. Did it have a 5 spd? Also, a Dodge Ram RT/ST (I think) shortbed with the 5.9 and racing stripes. As a kid there was a guy on my block with a lowered green one, he would always do burnouts for us haha.

Im pretty sure it wasn't a 5-speed, maybe 3speed auto? It had porno red interior. I could hear that 7.4 monster every time it came around the block. That thing sipped gas through a big gulp cup lol. Damn, Now I really wish he would have kept it.
Those Ram RT are pretty cool too, I like the white with blue stripes models.

People usually leave notes on cars they think are rotting away to death in an attempt to save them

They're most likely gypsys looking for a quick flip. I see photocopied handwritten notes all the time.
