Depression is a hell of an illness.Dave Mirra, Tony Hawk and Bob Burnquist were the reason I watched the x games.

RIP Dave

Huge fan and an idol to me. Rode the dirt trail next to Foster Freeze in Pinole for years, the creek in Sherwood Forest, and up that steep ass hill in El Sobrante when I was a young teen.

You said it perfect man, really does suck seeing your idols die even worse when they take their own lives..I once met Dave in LA at X games and he gave me a solid 10 min convo like as if he wasn't a popular extreme athlete showed a lot of character..Who knows what negativity was going on in his head but obviously it won..RIP Mirra you were a fuckn badass easily a top pioneer of the sport..

He was the reason why I ever liked BMX. His game was one of the best games I ever had for Playstation even though it frustrated the shit outta me as a kid. R.I.P

I owe ages 10-14 of my life to him. I couldnt skateboard for crap so i turned into a BMX guy. BMX owned my life for those 4-5 years, Everything i wore, watched, and did was BMX related, Friends would all bring our bikes to school so we can ride the town after class. I played the ever living crap out of Dave Mirra 2 on PS2. That game probably ranks in my top 10 most played games of all time.
