So I bought a 1987 notch as a roller, and the trunk had some rust and bad bodywork.. Its a vert trunk lid with the rack removed.. I had my buddy fix it and paint it, but I was thinking about putting some kind of wing or spoiler.. I know, i know, most will say leave the lx notch AS IS.. But I wanted something to kind of set it apart..
All i could only find was the typical anniversary wing or coupe saleen/cobra wings.. Then I remembered about the member who had made the aluminum wings for notches since one of my buddies bought one off him.. I wanted something a little more subtle, so I started browsing other makes & models of cars to get ideas..
This is what the final product looks like..
**Pics aren't the best because of the sun and my car was also blocked in.. I didnt wanna move 3 cars just to get this one out for a few pics haha**
Let me know what you think!

I think it's so small that it looks like a black stripe instead of a "small spoiler." Is that the rubber door gasket stuff?

Hey Blow,
To be honest? I think this is the only spoiler that belongs on a notch:

Even then, some are partial to it.
Thanks,

Leave it alone.
I agree with sinister, though, that's the only wing that truly compliments a notchback's trunk. But, unless you're going to build a drag car, it'll look out of place. For a non drag car, another option could be a ducktail style spoiler, but those are hit or miss IMO.

These pics arent the best.. the shadow and angles dont really show it too well.. its a trunk lip off a bmw..

If you want it subtle, paint it white and you're done! Either way on or off looks fine.

Its different. I'd be able to tell you apart from the 1000 other cookie cutter notchbacks out there.
