Sonic Blue 2003 Cobra back in 2009. Guy worked at a local bank i went to and i asked him about it while i was there, He said you can have it for $15k, He needed to buy a commuter since he was driving 70 miles a day to this new job. That was by far my biggest regret since i could of bought it cash that day but didnt want to empty my savings on it at 18 years old.

1968 Fairlane 500 fastback. Original 289-4v 4-spd. Guy wanted $2500.
The other was a 1964 Comet 404. Another 289-4v 4-spd. This was a little pricier at $5500, but was in really great condition.

High school days my pops said he would buy my first car for me. I found a GT350 that was in pretty good condition for 8k. I called home and lets just say that the "NO!" still echo's every time I see a Shelby.

I too was lucky enough to have my parents
Match the money I had saved to purchase my first vehicle and My buddy's brother was selling a 67 Camaro "white with blue rally stripes & hot 350 with a built 350 tranny with gear drive" for 3 grand and was shot down. Ended up with a V6 T-Bird which sucked but made the best of it and was happy just to have some wheels of My own!

Back in college had the the opportunity to buy a neighbor's '69 Mach 1 for like $9K. I did not have the money (too busy paying for school expenses). Just heard from my dad that the car just sold for $65K last month
. Not sure if it was an s code or anything like that, but it looked all original and the seller was the only owner of the car.
