A lot can be said about Oakland but I figured we can point out how smooth everything went after thousands of fans took to the streets. No major issues, fires, damaged buildings or cars. I figured it was worth mentioning since everyone has mostly negative things to say about the place. Well deserved championship for the city of Oakland!

Born, raised & still in Oakland, everything went okay last night with the exception of "THE SIDESHOW". But what's new nobody got shot,small businesses owners are still in business...

True. I'm sure folks didn't want the parade cancelled! LOL

I was out there by my father's house (64th), and only saw folks trying to swing their vehicles... Nothing crazy.

Law enforcement was ready and strategic! Saw CHP, SLPD, ACS and of course OPD.

I have to say looking back at previous years ( Raiders SB loss being one of them ) I was honestly expecting it to get really crazy that night. Let's see how the fans act tomorrow night after the parade before we give too much praise.

I would like to point out that the Giants fans did a lot worse after their World Series wins.

Bottles thrown at cops, people on top of the busses, one fatal crash possible double fatal on 98th, continuous sideshows on international with some getting onto 880 besides that it wasn't too bad.
