Looking to possibly pick up an older full sized truck for hauling stuff around the house and occasional towing. Only looking to spend around $5k or less as it will only be used on occasion. Been looking at late 90's to early 2000 models but not sure what truck is the best bang for the buck. If you have opinions and experience on any of these particular models please chime in.
F150 vs. Silverado/Sierra vs. RAM
Thanks!

as far as trucks go...The GM trucks from those years are the better ones and least trouble.

Depends on who owned it, good news is there's a lot of cheap parts and they ran with a lot of interchangeable parts for years

That's how Kenny Powers would do a truck comercial.
I have a 2001 Chebby and the most that 5.3 has towed was 3/4 yards of concrete and a mixer. That was a little more weight then that thing could handle. If you could find an old 7.3 ford I'd suggest that.
Real cheap tow rig.

Tundra... working for a nation wide auto dismantler the tundras are just unstopable, and with a larger back seating area then a mega cab.
