I heard exedy is the best ever, the supply their own throwout bearing and pilot bearing , no need for ford products ,no matter how many people tell you to use a ford brand TB . Dont waste your money on a measley $30 part

I have been looking into a Ram HDX 10.5" street clutch good to 400hp

I would just get a hydraulic clutch.

exedy is the best in terms of clutch feel compared to stock. At least this has been what i have seen from reviews while looking for myself.
I have a centerforce dual friction in my 99 cobra and its not too bad now that i put in a maximum motorsports cable.

Hey Built88lx,
If you're looking for a stock feel, I would definitely stick with Exedy or Centerforce.
If you're looking for a stiffer clutch, you can't go wrong with Ford Racing.
Let me know if I can offer any more assistance, I carry Ford Racing, McLeod and Centerforce.
Thanks,
- Michael

I'm using a Spec Stage 1 and it's pretty close to stock....maybe a slight bit stiffer. No problems with it at all. Works great!

I had an exedy stage two on my 04 with pretty much full bolt ons. still had the stock feel for the most part and performed great. absolutely do NOT use their throwout bearing or pilot bearing, they suck. 5,000 miles in the throwout bearing started sqealing, and yes I installed it correctly. swapped it back to a ford racing one and the sqeal went away.

Why centerforce and not exedy?
I have used Ford HD, King cobra, Ram HDX and Centerforce.
out of all of those the CF has the best grab and the best pedal feel. much easier than a stock clutch.

Thanks for the advice I'll most likely be ordering a centerforce clutch next week

of course not. when I bough the clutch it sat in my garage for like 6 months before I installed it. they said that there was no way to validate that. :/ either way I will never use another RAM product.
