Ya I had a bad dealing with Bob and decided to turn away before I lost any money. He likes to ignore you when he fees like he does not want to do business with you for one reason or another.
Also have a friend get his car tuned by him. He tried to tune the car without the proper equipment to get his $$ and the car blew up, he simply could have said no. Now a friend had to rebuild his motor again!

It's almost like we need a sticky on the good and bad shops. Most people chime in too late for others to realize.

I wouldn't deal with Bob also, I didn't agree with some of his tuning methods when I was asking about tuning one of my cars but all tuners and shops aren't perfect

That is sad. Customer service and humility should be pillars of every business. There are lots of options out there for your money. If someone does business with me, I make it a point to make they aware how appreciative I am of their business. It does wonders return / referral business.

I haven't build anything in the past few years, but I have always had trouble finding good shops. Unless it was a friends shop, than it worked out.
