After my 82 chp was totaled, I was debating what to get next. Tried looking for a clean 93 cobra but no luck. SO I decided to pull the trigger on something pre-smog..

Got a 1968 Mustang C-code coupe.. Its not perfect, but it is one of the nicer ones that I could find for sale..

This is my first old school Mustang so I'm pretty juiced!!

No plans yet since I'm pretty lost with modifying old schools.. Not sure what to do suspension-wise, But definitely going to do EFI conversion and some type of boost..

When it comes to suspension, hit up Mike@ Mike Maier inc.

They make some badass parts.

Nice car good luck with your build. Toss a 331 with vortec with a street or track coil over front kit and have a fun little street machine.

Maier Racing is the name I keep hearing so more than likely theyre the ones who I will be taking it to.. 90% of the people Ive talked to recommended Maier Racing..

Do it bro.. I love being able to ride around in a loud ass mustang and not worry about putting it in neutral everytime I see a cop haha

It has a 351w already so I'm probably going to do a 351w based stroker with a vortech or procharger.. Im leaning towards the coilover front with upper control arm delete & a 3 link torque arm rear setup.. Just have to do a little more research before I decide for sure.. Im more into corner carvers than drag car..

Thanks bro.. 67/68's are my favorite year old schools! so I had to make sure when I get one it was a 67 or 68..

yeah the car has a mildly built 351w, nothing crazy.. The car was originally auto but its been converted to a T5 setup.. So its a good starting point already..

Clean! I like!! Badass ride man.

I have a 410w in my 67 and its a blast and a ton of torque with a supercharger that will be a beast. I'm going the same route I enjoy the turns going straight gets old real fast.

Here's Mike's contact info: http://www.mikemaierinc.com/#contact

He opened up his own shop in Livermore. He was the one doing the suspension parts at his dad's shop (Maier Racing) but branched out on his own.

The only thing he doesn't do there is the fiberglass. The new coil over kit he's coming out with is going to be badass.
