I've been looking to upgrading my coupes front brakes with 6piston calipers.

Wilwood has a pretty reasonable price. Lemme know your positive and negative experience with Wilwood brakes.

Also other brake companies.

If you're talking about the coyote, I like that with Wilwood or Baer we can go larger calipers in the rear too if we want but for cost effectiveness I just went with 6 piston Brembos from a Shelby.

The brake system is actually for the Fox. It currently has 13' 2 piston baer brakes.

Aren't the BAER brakes sufficient?

Fixed calipers will be an upgrade over the pad-guided 2-piston PBR calipers.

The 2000 Cobra R Brembos or the Baer T4 calipers are nice upgrades for the price. Wilwood deletes piston seals and anti-rattle hardware in an effort to reduce price and weight.

Baer, Brembo, and Stoptech would be better options IMO

I plan to autocross the coupe and the 2 piston calipers aren't cutting it.

I will look into brembo cobra R brakes.

Before jumping in feet first you should do some research on brake sizing with intended use. Bigger caliper no always better due to piston surface area.

Also look at rotor thickness as well, in your particular situation I personally would run anything that is less then 1.25" thick.

Wilwood stuff is great as well as Baer, aftermarket brembo or stoptech stuff will be more "top shelf" choices.

Word has it that Wilwood does not use dust seals which if you primarily use it for street driving isn't the greatest, but on the same note I've seen plenty of folks street drive for years.

If money isn't an issue, looking into the new Baer floating front rotors or some Wilwood spec 37's will be in your best interest.

I personally am waiting for a set of Wilwood W6A calipers and 14.25" spec 37 rotors to show up.

Lastly. Drilled rotors do not like hard use, look into just slotted or plain rotors.

I decided to go with the 2000 Cobra R calipers. I do not want to run wheels larger than 17'.
