I'm looking to get some paint and body work done to my comet, anybody have any recommendations. Or if anybody knows someone that does quality side work, that would work too. Thanks

I can recommend a shop in Sac that does a lot of work on old schools. They painted my foxbody years ago and just did my truck last week. PM me for their info.

It's going to cost a grip of money to fix all that metal as you went about stripping the paint off with a die grinder.

Probably gonna have to skim coat the whole thing.
How much you looking at spending?

I used a paint removing wheel that 3m sells and a chemical stripper. The metal is not distorted and will not need to be skimmed with filler, it's actually really smooth.

I'll check them out after the rains. Can't really take it anywhere in bare metal. Thanks

My buddy owns Manteca Auto Body. Not being biased, but would not take my cars anywhere else. Killer work!
