So the reason the car fail was that HC(ppm) were too high. What should I be looking for in order to correct this? [IMG]  - [/IMG]

cats might not be good..

did you let the car run for atleast 30 mins so the motor & cats are heated up before smogging it?

try putting some fresh spark plugs & 100 octane in it..

Just turned the car on and headed straight over, bout a 10 min drive.

I'll change the plugs and drive it a bit before smogging again.

Drive it hard for 30-40 minutes
Keep the car running until it's time to pull it into the sniffer.

Car was not warmed up enough drive hard for 30 minutes then go get it tested an don't shut the car off should pass then.

if you have a friend who is a smog tech. pull the spout connector and smog it. it will pass.

run the car hard.. put a gallon of e85 into half tank of premium gas. should help
