I've found one guy down in San Jose from Craigslist that wanted old school amps. So in trade I gave him a few old school amps that didn't work and he fixed mine and gave me 200.00.

I dont think ide be able to send it back. Amp is about 8 years old. Was working fine and just went into protect mode. I guess this problem is very common with these amps. I just cant find any forums or details online on what could have caused this. No low ohmage was applied to my knowledge. Never abused. I contacted kicker and no reply. Sucks

So an 8yr old am is most likely an A/B or D amp..id get a new generation amp draws less amperage way more efficient and most likely a better sound.

By the time you fix an 8yr old amp for a couple hundred plus time you can get a new amp.

thanks!

Yeah i was hoping to get a working amp when i bought it off some punk on cl and it ended up not working. Punk wont reply or answer calls so im fkd. Im $160 into it and im hoping for a cheap easy fix. But worst case ill take it as a leason learned to not trust anyone and a loss. And yeah ill have to buy a new one.
