Im a big fan of raised white letter tires and have been wanting to get some but came to realize they dont make them in 17s. Well at least i couldnt find them. So I looked up other methods and ideas to getting the job done and came up with a cheap easy way. Its a pen. Jus prep tire and paint. I dont know how long itll last but for the price im very happy with outcome. I plan on throwin themback on car on saturday. Some might not like what i did but i do. Thats all jus wanted to share incase others might want to try

Nice! Is that a special pen for tires or what?Make sure you post up a pic of them on the car to really see what they look like.

BTW - I had those Riken Raptors as my last set of tires and they are pretty good tires.

Looks good. I thought about painting the letters on my tires but I think I'm just going to roll on Hoosiers so they already come painted.

Thanks guys. Yeah i really like the white letter look. Makes my car look fast haha. Ill post pics of it when i put them on as well as a before and after.

Yeah paint pen is for tires. Buy em at parts stores for like $7. Called hot tire.

Can't beat the free part. Not a lot of people care about brand of tires unless if you're getting performance tires like slicks or radials.

So i finished it and here is the outcome. Pics dont do it justice i like the way it looks in person. Yeah they arent name brand tires but 235s and 275s new FREE, ide be crazy to not take em! Anyhow, hope u guys like...

Ok we have a Fail!! After driving it last night a bunch of the paint flew off. Haha now only outline of letters are on. I think i didnt prep tires right. O well haha

Yeah thats exactly wha happen. I guess to prep u have to use soap and water and scrub thr shit out of the tires. I thought i did but thought wrong. Outlined dont look bad either lol
