That's a lot of money for a car with a busted hood latch. Either that or the gaps are so bad that he doesn't want to show it with the hood completely closed.

Good thing on the Saleens is that you can find out the bullshit ones rather quickly by checking the VIN with the registry or calling Saleen and they'll give you history on it over the phone.

yes indeed The Saleen registry helped me on my 88-118 the guy was telling me he tore it apart to do a resto and come to find out it was hit in the front. So I took it to a excellent body shop in LA to make sure it was repaired correctly stuck it on the frame machine and was with in 1/16 out he pulled it and got it within 1/32 got all door trunk and hood gaps correct and painted her. Was a lot of money but turned out awesome and it was so long ago that it does not show up on car fax
