Op just made it seems like he was surprised about the miles and price on it like if it where original motor and tranny price reflects the fact that it's been changed had this been an original 53k mile car it be more like 22k maybe I was just pointing it out!!

Prices for these Cobras has been dropping lately.

I've seen them sell for as low as $12-$13K with 70k miles.

Not sure why..

Just a FYI.

Dude,PLENTY of healthy ones running around with over 100k..my uncles 03 shut down all the typical negative hype and "it's gonna blow up" talk these cars catch when it had the kb 2.2 on it e85 and kooks with over 100k..108k 100% factory stock longblock, made 680/630,never had a head tick or any other issues for that matter but minor crap and took a hell of a beating daily! It can and has been proven time and time again,to many forum horror stories like the longblocks in these cars are made outta Legos [Roll Eyes]

+1. Just keep up with maintenance and fix any little issues when they come up and it'll last you for a long time

I remember this car by the plate.
It came into the shop in 2012 with a "knock".
Tests confirmed cylinder #7 went by-by.
Customer picked up the car and said he had another motor coming, but just wanted confirmation from professionals that it indeed was internal.
