So I bought the car about 2 weeks ago. Guy told me the 351c block he gave me was original. Wrong! I checked the numbers on the back and they do not match up so I chalked that idea and went with something else. So far I've just cleaned it up a little and dropped in a new power plant from a 76 Ranchero. Engine is a 351Modified and tranny is a C6. Everything is in now and I'm just trying to handle all the wiring issues. Pain in the ass because I don't have a multi meter.

Just went to harbor freight and got a multi meter and a bunch of wiring stuff. So hopefully today she fires or at least cranks from the key

Finished up most of the wiring today and it sparked. I had to wire up the dura spark from the ranchero into the car and I added a 94/95 3g alternator. Next is exhaust, radiator, floor shifter and throttle cable.

I love 69-70 cougars and nice find. Most 69's came with 351 windsors and 70's came with Cleveland's. There were some early 70's that came with left over Windsors from 69.

Just got my B&M shifter from Lee yesterday. Big thanks! Now I have to pick up a radiator, a gas tank and go handle the paperwork. The car was last registered in 93 and I have the original black plates. What kind off issues should I be facing with this?

Installed my gas tank and rear shocks yesterday. Had cobra rear Bilsteins so I slapped em in. Had to use the mount from the 94-98 for the shocks but it bolted right in and is hella stiff. Best cheap solution to install mustang shocks in the back. I love it and it looks pretty decent underneath
