Lol
Well you gotta realize it was several years before the gone in 60 seconds fad that made fastbacks skyrocket.
This car was bought from the original owner and driven home after putting in the radiator plus carb rebuild. $1,500 bucks later. 1515 including dmv fees.
Coupes were the "it" thing at the time.

Ready to laugh?
I had a 76 Mustang II Ghia mpg edition. It was black with porno red interior. I payed $100 for without the potent 4 cylinder. It had a 4 speed which is how I learned to drive stick. My Dad and older brother got a motor from the pick and pull and got it running for me to use for school. Although it was a turd, it had lots of sentimental value to me since my Dad(RIP) and brother put it together for me and I bought my own car.

First was a red 1984 T bird with 2 zapco 200 watt amp's & paragraphic EQ running all EV speaker's. Then I bought a 1973 Buick Rivera with a 455 & turbo 400 tranny. That Buick kicked 95% of the car's ass on the road in1990!

'71 VW Squareback. Bought it for $500 with a blown engine and primered body. My dad's buddy rebuilt the engine (1641cc), I shaved the body moulding and my dad redid the carpets. Here she is after coming back from Earl Scheib. My dad broke the bank and got the $99 paint job, $15 for the jambs and $15 for the rims.

I got mine from an old lady. Front was crashed and it sat in her garage for years till I got it and fixed it. I was 16 when I got it. Traded it for a slammed 74 Datsun Pl620 with a 2l and 5spd conversion. Ran great till I blew the motor
