Not a Ford but thinking of doing a wide body on my Z. Not a cheap mod by any means, is it worth it or not in your guys opinion? Be honest. Thanks fellas.

I don't want the price to play a part in the decision cause if I say how much everyone will tell me I can buy another car lol... but the whole process with parts and paint is around $18k

I've thought about that but That's just for the kit though. I'd have to still get it installed and tuned. And it would still be on the stock bottom end so I'd be looking at gains of maybe 50-60hp max before I start getting into that danger zone. I'd rather build the motor first

Just speaking from personal experience. . I've raced 4 different gt500s and have videos from 3 racing from digs to rolls.. bolt ons to whippled and never once did any of them pull on me. They are still a bad ass car but not for me

i say no. my old neighbor had the supervettes kit on his c6z and it wasnt that greatest of quality. took alot of body work and still looked like it didnt belong. only pic i have. i dont like the idea of adding 2" wheel spacers to get a 345 flush either.

Thanks for the input, seriously considering it. wouldn't have to run spacers because I have 3 piece wheels. I would only have to buy deeper lips for it to make it sit flush. I don't plan on selling the car and not to sound baller but not really worried about the price its gonna cost. My biggest concern is if it's gonna look good well enough to set it apart from the rest of what's out there. Thanks again guys for all the input

Looks badass. The cars already have a bit of a 'widebody' look from the factory. Just looks like an extension of what GM started.

My personal opinion would be to body color all the carbon. I think that clear coated carbon fiber is getting a little out of date.

I only posted on here to get some feedback on your guys thoughts being that is a car forum and I know 90% of you on here are up front and honest. I did build the car for me but I thought I'd share the build with you guys. Some of you enjoyed it, some of you didn't. I was once a hater, (earlier in the thread pg 1). But I have to say, that does look amazing.
I think the thing that would bother me is if the paint did not match perfectly. But to me it looks like wherever you took the car did a great job.

Sure we can do 1/4 mile for 20k heads up I pick the street an no prep.an don't worry it just a small block that can drive anywhere. An if don't have the 20k I can give you a title loan on your corvette as long as it's paid off.
