Dog owner needs advise - Northern California Ford Owners

My neighbors 2 dogs (females) just had a fight because one was stealing doggy treats from the other. I wake up at 8am hearing yelping And growling. I look to see one biting the other. She didn't seem to be biting viciously but, in a way shes serious but not killing the other. Their owners are trying to stop them physically. I yell to use the water hose and that broke the fight.
Now they're wondering what to do next.
Should they keep them separated for a while.
Should they get rid of one of them.
What should they do?
They love these girls both. Any advice is good.

Give them treats apart from each other that way the one cant steal from the other.

Give it to them separate if not make them sit give the treat to one make the other wait and then give the treat to the other. Works with my dogs.

+2 my dogs did the same shit i just would feed them seperate! Especially two femals they are the worst!!!
