So, I just walked out to my garage to find my door lying om the ground with along with all my stuff gone through

THEY TOOK MY POWDER COATING STUFF, MY RIMS AND MY HEADERS!!!!

The coating stuff is not a big deal, but my rims are.

CaFords please keep a look out for my rims. They are 95 Cobra R's. On inside of each rim I have my CaFords name along with my drivers license number engraved into the rim. So if you go to buy some rims. Please check to see if they are mine!

Any info leading to my stuff getting recovered I will offer you 500$ in free powder coating!! THAT INCLUDES RIMS WHEN I FINISH MY BUILD.

something you may want to consider when you upgrade your garage motors is to get one that has smart phone control, monitoring and notification on when the door is opened and closed.
have one at my house and also cameras setup so i can see what the f is going on in there when i aint home.

I just seen a news report on garage break ins. They most likely pulled the emergency hatch or whatever with an "equipment" and manually opened the garage without making much noise at all. I'll find the report video and it tells you how to prevent this from happening.

Take it as a lesson learned. More than likely you will find your rims with the DL grinded off or someone will find the dummy selling em. Put up cameras and an alarm maybe even a dog or two. Oh and dont have people come to your house unless you know nobody will try that shit. I have two dogs in my yard with the gate closed at all times.

I don't want to be rude so I'm going to try and respond to everyone in one bit post. lol

I mad the police report last night, of course. The cop said he would do his best, but W/O proof he said I wont be able to prove anything wrong. I then explained how I have my DL number graved into each rim. Best response I have heard, "No shit. You my friend are a smart mother fucker." hahah The cop was nice and took my case very personal. I wish all cops were like him. He too was robbed last year. They took over 15K in stuff.

The job I believe was a spur of the moment type of hit because I walked outside to check on my car, brought my two pitbulls inside for like 10 minutes and they went back outside. So within 10 minutes all this went down. In the crime world ten minutes is a long time. They had to had done it during the ten minutes of my pitbulls being inside because if not they would of been bitten and they were would been raising heck!!
They broke down my garage door causing about 3k dollars in damage.
I do not bring my customers to my house for that reason. I don't want to think that my customers were the ones who robbed me. Out of site out of mind! lol
I don't keep customers parts in my garage I keep them in my house for that reason. So, I know they are safe because someone is always home.

Thank you everyone for keeping a look out for me and spreading the word. I hoping I get my rims back at least..

My headers were JBA. My rims looked brand new. They were chrome 5 lug 17x9 and 10.5. No curb rash or scratches with 315's M/T drag radials in the rear and hankook 275's in the front.

Kinda... I was in the process of building a bigger oven to coat rims. I talked to a few people and that are allowing me to experiment with their rims. This sets me back a few.

While i was out getting my money out of an atm [Big Grin]

I called the cop who helped with me with my police report. He met me at my bank [Big Grin]

and he followed me back to the chevron where the guy and i originally met. I stepped out of my car walked up to the guy and told him they were my rims. The guy said prove it. The cop intervened and said he can. The cop asked me for my ID, walked over to the rims and said these are his.

After i had proved they were mine. the guy got all defensive saying he bought them last week from a guy and that he had a receipt. I said that is not what your add said on CL. He lied through his teeth saying that he didnt write the add his brother did blah blah blah blah.

IN A NUT SHELL, i got my rims back and my tires!!!!! [Big Grin]

To my CaFords family. Do like I did and engrave your DL number on your rims!!! [Big Grin]

IT SAVED ME FROM LOSING MY RIMS!! [Big Grin]

In the end the gentlemen was arrested for possession of stolen property!! He is locked up waiting for a court date. So, he wont be stealing anything else!!

I'm glad to hear everyone is taking my advice and branding their property. Try and put it out of plain sight. So, that hopefully they won't see it and grind it off. I was very lucky to find my rims. My headers are more then likely long gone, but at least I got my rims back.
