1-1-14 My house bid was choosen and move in this weekend.
1-29-14 I was offered a position to drive feeder (Tractors) for UPS. *Currently employed driving package cars for UPS* What cracks me up is everyone that drives feeder for UPS are all OG's with 20+ years with the company. I'm 25 y/o and 8 years with UPS.
Pros and cons driving tractors pulling trailers?

I feel the same way...we bought our place completely renovated earlier this year but even then I started taking note on things I wanted to do to the house. We started off completely redoing our backyard. Next will be a nice closet setup for me and the wife (primarily for her), then maybe some additions to the garage, etc....it piles up if you really want to "make it your home."
As for jobs, congrats OP! Hard work pays off. I, myself am trying to work my way up the ranks in the biotech engineering field.

ian congrats on the new home.. for that very same reason of wanting to make it your own, i kinda prefer buying a house needing updates so you can really customize it to your liking. unless youre lucky to find the "perfect home" more than likely there will always be something ud want to change even if the home is 100% renovated. the laundry list of upgrades both car and home never end...the need to upgrade is ingrained in our DNA lol
