I know him personally. Real good friend. Family man. He is not that type of dude. He recently purchased those off somebody not too long ago. Fox is super clean tho for anyone wanting to do a v8 swap.

I generally don't trust anyone who can't spell....generally. However, just because your friend is a "good family man" doesn't mean the guy he bought them from is; or who he hangs with.
Maybe the guy he bought them from could shed a little light on the matter since these happen to be rare wheels.

If they were his, he would be entitled to them back if he could prove it. Which he couldn't. But a realt stand up family guy would ask, what are the tire brand/type/sizes? If you have a match then you have an obligation to do something to make it right. Be it getting the person who sold him the rims involved, or letting the guy get his property back if the OP could bring him some 10 holes to sit the car on.

No need to jump to conclusions and say " those are his for sure blah blah blah". I've seen a teal 93 and red 93 with the same wheels at meets, so others will have the same wheels.

This is a joke, there is no way you can prove its his wheels, they look similar... SO WHAT! We all have similar parts on our cars. Also regardless if the guy is a good person or not, he shouldn't and will never give the rims back, he paid for them they are his.

You should put a starting price on you cl ad and learn how to spell. when my car got stolen, it brand new tires. riken i belive. 245 40 in the front, and 275 40 in the rear. nobody had those rims in the bay area that i have seen. after talking to my wife last night i came to trems that the person, or persons that had these rims did no or did steal my stang how can i prove it? shits gone. 15k in parts and awsome memories gone. i honestly dont think its worth it. its just funny after 2 years of seening nothing, the most unique part on the cars pops up [Confused]

No. What I said isn't a joke. It's the BUYERS responsibility to make sure things they buy aren't stolen. I understand that's hard to do in some cases. Doesn't make it untrue none the less. That's why there is a seperate law from theft called possession of stolen property.

When they stole my wifes purple mustang, i pulled over to talk to another foxbody owner and he had my wifes rims "i could tell by the tires and defects in the rim, i got his number and info. I did not confront him yet, his wife was prevnant, he was voing to wyotech getting his shit togther.
Long story short, i got my hood,radio,floor mats back and was in the process of getting my rims back, then hes in the news for stealing a another foxbody, trying to run over a cop, then gets shot in the back and is now in jail...
Why the long story because it doesnt matter if hes a family man, hes afiliated with car thiefs.
