Here are some pictures of what I'm doing to it now

Floor pans are already replaced

All new Scott drake suspension waiting to be installed

Cut it out to straighten it

Now I'm trying to make my own guage cluster out of the old dash cluster

Still have to paint the cluster but so far the car is testing my patience

Good looking car. I've contemplated selling my 04 Roush to fund my 67 project. I feel bad that she's just sitting in my warehouse with no motor, trans, and a cracked shock tower.

save your vin# thats on your fender that you you cut out and document everything so you can get the CHP to restamp the vin.

Pretty sure he has it registered, and CHP doesn't "stamp" anything although you can use those piece to restore a frame up classic/Hotrod, and have CHP/pd/dmv verification.

Actually it isn't registered and the vin stamp is still on the driver side shock tower apron on the rail

Well after another test drove my t5 only has 4 speeds... Kinda confused on how that happens .... Maybe because I let my buddy rebuild it for free lol you live and you learn

Damn lol. How do you like that shifter? I hated it because I felt like I had to reach too much and it just felt off. I got the 4 speed style shifter designed for the T5 and it's way better. It looks exactly the same as the 4 speed shifter but it's a bit thicker and the prongs for reverse are false. If you choose to go with that, just know that the shifter is 1/2 x 20 pattern and a little less common than the rest to find shift knobs.

It's been awhile since I posted and progress but I just put in my rebuilt 306 since my 302 had a horrible vibration.... I'm very happy with the outcome

I would rather rebuilt 50 engines than sanding.
I'm in a process of doing this. Sucks that I'm doing the OG way of pure block sanding. Know wonder these Russian forearms are huge! Steal learning how to overcome high spots and low spots. I wish I had the funds of buying a quality air compressor or some power tools to get the stripping done faster. But overall this is going to be a huge accomplishment for me.

Thanks it's a 302 bored 30 over with Keith black dommed pistons and world sr heads running about 9.5-1 compression, with tfs stage 2 cam and comp cam 1.6 roller rockers with performer rpm manifold with a quick duel 650 carb and mid headers

The body just wasn't straight at all and nothing fit right because the front end was tweaked. Those are some 143 vision wheels
