WTF? They painted the pressure plate? Also, since it's fuel injected, kinda weird they put the dipstick in the timing cover since it would most likely go into a car with a rear sump.

um yeah i built this motor lol. it was for a guys 240 drift car, and its fuel injected yes but will be running a front sump pan for the 240, bad ass motor fOR what hes doing, but i dont think he was thinking when posting it, he wanted 85 for the whole car WITH CAGE, FRONT ANGLE MODS, THIS MOTOR AND WHATS LISTED. the presure plate came that color its some 6 puck deal, and the color combo was to match his car at his request. the dip stick is also not cut down yet cause the pan hasnt been installed. give him a break lol

he bought every part new and paid to have tem machine shop in napa touch every ori part to where it was better than new, and reliable for high revs for long periods of time, it was very high in price regardless but nothing was second hand used and ran off of another vehicle, everything is well fully built zero miles. im not sure total amount but it was alot. i know u guys are looking at like man that's a stock crank, etc, but everything was checked for cracks , turned and micro polished than fully balanced along with the rest of the rotating assembly, the rods resized with arp, then also balanced, pistons pulled, balanced then back on, block line bored , center line decked, there really was no corners cut on any of the fancy or very thorough machine work like a top of the line motor use, this one was just with mostly stock parts.our only machine shop local i trust does work on like Ferrari type stuff all over the world and is a bit high in price but i trust his work. in the end he had a very reliable high reving v8, that should last years bouncing off the rev limiter that would of been more than enough in a lil 240 sx.

its def stock lol. and the lower end when pics was taken didn't have the windage tray on because if u look, the pistons where not even installed yet. all the money was really in the machine work and super balancing, this is not a monster motor hp build , it was built for just sustained high revs, and good oiling for a super long time. it was meant for a drift 240 car where 300 horses is way more than enough already. the stock stuff was all he had until he could get a deal on heads or intake to add on later. he didn't cut any corners in the machine shop build either, and the machine shop is very on the high side in price, but look up tem in napa, third place in engine builder of the year jus this last year. anything that could be done in the lower end has been done beside not cryo freezing the rotating assembly. i find it funny when alot of guys consider throwing heads on a used motor is a motor build, it is not. u lego your motor together, and either got lucky or not. this guy didn't want to take chances, so he did everything from scratch. he tried to take chances in the beginning, he bought three used motors and two of them was junk, beyond repair even, except for the one here he had built.
