Trust me I always dreamt of a high end home theater and always had decent systems that sounded good but until youve experienced a legit 5.1 system you havent been watching movies!!!! I'll tell you right now WORLD WAR Z on a properly laid out system is out of this world!!!!! if any of you are ready to drop a few K on a mind blowing theater let me know!!!! I'm willing to let all my mcintosh speakers go for a good price but, theres no way in hell I will part with the hardware

fuck yeah its all about feeling the movie your watching!!! sure my mcintosh sl-6 towers front and rear put out great bass, having 3 drivers in each these silly things are just over 4 feet tall each, but god dam the mcintosh ht-2 subwoofer is unmatched by any other sub out there! but it's non- powered with dual 12" down firing drivers the things the size of a coffee table I have a mono mcintosh amp running that and have my front towers bi amped being powered by a 4 channel mcintosh amp and one more 4 channel powering my center and rear towers!!!! it sucks the only time i can really crank my system is when my wife and kids arent home she bitches cuz its too loud hahahaah!!!!

oh hey eric got50 just throwin this out there I'd be into selling off your whole drive train i pulled from your 65 coup i bought off you I never ran it in my 68 it's just been sitting in my shop since. I decided to break all the rules and am dropping in a 2007 LS-7 427 out a ZO6 well let me know

There was an old article if I can find it, where they disassembled a $1,300 Bose system and found manufacturer of the speakers in it, they sell the speakers for only $35.

My pops is all about video/audio, as for me nothing too special Onkyo receiver with Yamaha speakers 1 center 4 side and 2 subs. Gets the job done.

Way over rated. Their wave guide alarm clock is good and that's about it. You can buy the paper woofer (if you want to call it that) for 35 bucks.
