Just wondering. Do they really help? I've never used a shift light, kinda don't want to either.

For me it did since i was running nitrous and once those rpm got moving it was nice to see the light as a warning

I'm boosted and my 1 and 2nd gear move way to fast and try to focus to stay in the grove and rpm

Both but I a module connected to it. I believe the raptor one its easier to connect

The raptor is a good shift light, and pretty easy to install/wire up
