So I sold my fox and now looking into getting a 96-98 cobra whats the pro's and con's of these cars. My buddy has a clean rio red cobra that iam very interested in buying has some goodies if I can remeber 430 gears jlt intake catless x pipe H&R springs tokico shocks short shifter has about 128,040 miles well taken care of lmk thanks

Sorry to hear. I didn't even get a chance to meet you and check it out.
Hope you have good luck finding that Cobra you want. I've seen a few of them around town and a friend of mine in Fairfield just bought a 97. Pretty stock but he's working on that!!!

Here you go man lots of info in there for ya..good luck in your find you will love a nice 32v cobra,throw some gears in it atleast 410s and a nice intake/exhaust setup (longtubes ) and you'll love it,I dd mine and she runs solid never disappoints!

iv had 4.30s w my irs setup, hugged the turns like a champ...
liked it so much that 4.10s werent even a question when i went sra......

4.30s aint that bad going about 75-80 @ 3k rpms isnt shit when this bitch tachs out @7k+

I dd myne all the time n never regreted the 4.30s....
Dont fear the gear....

Just wondering any guys runing a 4.56 gear out their??

4.30s !!!! Great choice you won't regret it! They are a bit expensive to mod and aftermarket parts are far less than a 5.0

No coil overs, just an IRS swap and running factory 03/04 cobra springs all 4 corners cut 1 coil no iso's..best riding mustang I've owned..gonna go a bit lower tho once I get a bump steer kit and now front struts..

Gas mpg blows but it's a mustang,you don't buy one for mpg unless it's a v6 or banger lol...I hear some guys with 456s and spray are hitting 5th at there local drag strips I couldn't imagine..n/a there probably right at 67-7k rpm in 4th gear with 456s...with my 430s I'm right at about 3k when I'm doin 75/80 but I'm usually in the slow lane doin about 60/65 @2500 rpm that's where I feel comfortable and not winding my engine out..

Chavez change them blue corner light bulbs back to orange!!! Lol she's looking clean tho man but the peanut butter interior has gotta go! I changed mine out to black and will never look back!
