After having my 2002 GT taken out by an 18 wheeler this past March I have just ordered what I've been really wanting ... a Deep Impact Blue with satin black stripe 2014 GT500 with every option I could get minus the electronics package ... I don't really need all the extra crap, screw it. I got 3 weeks to wait for it, ugh ... but so exciting. Well at least now I can take my time rebuilding my GT.

The rig in the lane next to me decided to merge over while I was still in the lane and the driver side of my car was crushed inward under the trailer.

Nothing really ... just a concussion from the initial impact. It coulda been much worse, I coulda had my head taken off ... was very lucky.

Congrats on the order!

I highly recommend getting the screen, unless it's gonna be a track car only. If your gonna drive it, the screen is shitting

God damn! Glad you made it out ok...

That GT looked badass...my favorite color too. Too bad that happened but main thing is you walked away!!!

Enjoy the GT500. I had an 09 Shelby that was fun. I'm still faithful to my SN95s and new edge though!!

I know it's a totally different scenario but I just thought of that Saleen crash with the big rigs from Fast and the Furious 2

Yeah thanx, I know I'll love my GT500 but now I wanna find a good shape 96-98 GT to swap all my shit over to minus exterior, I'll just sell my salvageable body parts and lights, for my girlfriend to have to daily drive in so at least she'll have a decent PI swapped, bolt on, full exhaust, geared, dropped GT.

well apparently I have had like 5 people so far asking me about what I'm going to do with my rear tail lights. So I would be interested in selling them for $200 just the lenses which are in great shape. I'll be leaving to the bay from Az on Wed. so whoever meets up with me first can have them. Message me for my cell # ... the only other things I'll be selling are cosmetics.

I was coming home on highway 10, I was in the slow lane and he was in the lane to my left. something told him it was a good idea to merge back into the slow lane while I was still in it and his trailer hit my driver side my roof smashing it in and sending me off road into the desert.

Well you found out the hard way about staying away from the passenger side of a big rig. We got blind spots and most likely he just glanced over before making is lane change. I ALWAYS take a few extra seconds to double check for people.
Better to show up late then never.


But luckily you're ok & you got a new car.

BTW that's why I ALWAYS fly by a big rig and never stay next to them kuz they have huge blind spots. I heard if you can't see the drivers face thru their mirror he can't see you.

He knew I was there because he cut me off to get into my lane seconds prior. I was originally in the left lane and he was in the slow lane until he cut me off as I was passing by.
