So on Monday I yanked out the motor on the hatch and threw it into the vert so now my hatch is technically a roller. Now that I have everything out I want to clean up and get the engine bay looking nice. Big question is how much paint should I buy to spray my engine bay?

It's just the engine bay so single stage is good enough for me.

Are u goin thru that company I sent u? If u do single stage get the medium reducer and reduce paint down 4:1:1. 4 parts paint 1 part Hardner 1 part reducer. 3 coats 15-20 min flash time

Neight.
Just visualize that engine compartment as a brick wall, the HVLP gun as a mere can of spray paint & let your natural instincts take control of your hand.

Before with a can of primer

After two spray cans that I had matched at a local paint store & a can of clear coat all for under 45 bucks
