Cut 2 3/4" off each end of housing, added 9" big bearing ends, full coil overs and mini-tubs. Was a lot of work and glad it's finally done.

Thanks guys. Did everything myself except for shortening the housing and adding the new ends. There's a fixture to keep the housing straight that cost $550 so I had it done for $175.

that is alot of work! did u glue in the wheel wells or is that just seam sealer? i didnt see the tourqe box reinforces welded either so thats why i asked. finished results are really nice looking man! nice ride

No, sorry I don't. I was so wrapped up in getting it done because of the headache I didn't want to be reminded with pictures. Glad it was a once in a lifetime event.

Cage is a mongrel. Half Wolfe (front) half modified Art Morrison (hoop back). I modded the trunk bars to mount by the shock towers.

One thing I suggest if you haven't already done it. Remove all the spot welded brackets on the factory tubs first. I did one side at a time hoping I would learn from the first and found doing this made the second side easier.

Who cut the rear end for u? I'm in the step right now. Did they do your axles to or did you special order them.

I had Strange do my axles and these guys cut and weld the ends on. I'm pretty sure these guys can do the axles also.

I may have that MM&FF issue lying around somewhere with your car on it. I remember how happy I was as a freshmen in HS to see a local guy on the cover.

Cool to see you still have the car and that you're still tinkering with it to this day.

Hell ya that's what I'm saying I was a junior in high school and can still remember getting bitched at for reading my MM&FF in class with Johns car in it,I had a silver 92 notch at the time a father/son project, and I envied this dudes car

When I cut my tubs out and notched my frame it was easier to drill all the spot welds out on all the brackets and slap them off with a hammer then get in they're and start cutting . I wanna say I cut right where the c channel part of the frame is pinch welded to the trunk pan part not cutting into the pinch welded part. And then about 3/4 of an inch inward from the quarter panel. Its easy just have to take your time and use an assortment of cutting tools and watch out when that body foam shit they have in they're gets hot it will flame up easily
