"Special Service Package Mustang Coupe (similar to CHP) used by the USAF to help U2 Spyplane pilots land. One of 19 USAF Mustangs. Possibly only one restored! USAF stenciling on underside of hood. Restoration completed in 2003/4. Well maintained. Approx. 58K miles. Just passed smog with flying colors! Over $800 spent in 2011 to fix smog-related problems. Runs and looks as new. This is a show car and not a daily driver. Has been in print and also won Gold under the Concours Driven category at a National Mustang Club of America show.

Asking $17,000. Documentation goes with car."

That's pretty cool. If I was a collector, I would definitely pick that up.

Seems like a cool historical vehicle. I'm hoping he sells it for that much because any less and you'll get some jackass putting on 20 in cobras, taking off smog equipment, doing yum yums with the light bar going off in the court in front of their ghetto house.
