Got a 94 gt with 4.10s typhoon intake 65mm throtle body. N shorty equal lengths. In just wondering If any one ever ran a similar set up at the track. I'm gonna wait till the 50reasons event to run it but would like an idea on what numbers to expect. Any input is welcome.

I just love the reputation of the slow sn95, gets me every time.

Sorry man an sn95 mod for mod gets beat by the fox everytime...this has been known for years,in my o2 an sn95 is a superior car brakes, chassis, comfort wise but the fox get its done when it comes to a drag race [burnout]

1994-1995 computers: The TM40s (94-95 GT computer) processor runs 3x the clock speed of the fox body processor and is based off of Volumetric Efficiency (VE) The TM40 also many more parameters to tune with but also has many built in timing retards that need to be addressed which is the main reason why 1994-1995 Mustangs are slower than a comparable fox body Mustang. In 1994 Ford did a major redesign of both the computer hardware and software which resulted in a smoother running and more emissions friendly car.

It may "feel" faster but did your cobra have 410s as well?? The initial low end power feels good in a pushrod but get them revs up there and a 96 cobra with 410s would pull from your 5.0 very badly, not hating in anyway man I've owned 2 SN 5.0s and loved both of em great cars! My first one had over 230k OG longblock with bolt-ons and ran great! Also went 14.0s [Frown]

Yeah I've had both, a nice e7 headed 86 gt stock with exhaust and pullies ran 14.5, and now this 95 GTS. But that 86 became a pain to drive sometimes.

I would do a b cam with those 1.7s and a bump in timing and a lil more fuel and you should be in the 13s. And a h pipe of course to let her breathe

B cam is worthless, and it would only make the computer go crazy lol, then it's 400 bucks more for a tune.

His white one was 14.1 best, I have his car on video when we went too the track with SlowSN95 aswell, who also ran a 14.0 Flat (he can chime in) with 4.10s and a K&N On his 5.0.

But, his current red one went 13.6 @98 with 3.73s and longtubes with drag radials.
